Europe is a large area housing a number of countries. After the Second World War the countries decided they did not ever want to go to war again and so the European Union (EU) was born. Being a member of the EU has many benefits including allowing citizens of EU member states (countries) allowed to move freely in other EU member states including being able to live, work, play and travel there. Austria

Visa: Working Holiday (which only permits study)
Available to citizens of: Hong Kong, New Zealand, South Korea and Taiwan
Length of stay: 6 months and 12 months

Austria currently has a youth workers exchange program available to Canadian students and graduates aged between 18 And 30 allowing them to stay in Austria for up to 6 months to gain experience in Tourism, Agriculture And Forestry. You must be a Canadian who is a full-time post-secondary students and/or graduate, 18-30 years of age. Part-time and high school students not eligible.
