My Favourite Travel-Friendly Toiletries on Amazon

by | Last updated Jun 2, 2022 | Beauty, Fitness & Health, Live Work Play Travel

For many of us, Amazon has become an essential shopping platform. And I’ll admit freely, that I spend a lot of time looking at (and buying) travel products that will help me travel better and longer. I’ll also admit that I’m guilty of stocking up on toiletries and travel-sized beauty products to take on every trip. Why? Because there are so many great travel products on Amazon and it is so easy to purchase them online rather than running around from shop to shop trying to find what I’m looking for. The products listed in this blog post are the beauty basics I’ve come across on Amazon that are my favourite travel-friendly toiletries and beauty products. They help me keep my beauty routine which makes me feel good and helps me to travel better.

My Favourite Travel-friendly Toiletries on Amazon

Shampoo Bar

For years I have travelled with a combined shampoo and conditioner and then I discovered a shampoo bar. This shampoo bar not only saves space in my luggage but I am saving the planet by not using single use plastic bottles. The Wombar brand of shampoo bars have naturally derived ingredients from nourishing cocoa butter and betaine (from sugar beets) and this one has a beautiful eucalyptus and lavender smell. There are different scents in the range. And don’t forget a container to carry your shampoo bar in.

Facial Wipes

These individually wrapped facial wipes are great to remove makeup and to cleanse your face after a long day sightseeing, travelling or hiking. They dissolve traces of dirt and impurities on your skin making you feel fresher. Being individually wrapped you only need to take the number you need for your trip. They are easily disposed of and great to use in your daily routine while travelling. These wipes are one of my favourite travel-friendly toiletries I use as I travel.

Hydrating Hair Balm

Hydrating hair balm is great if your hair becomes dry while travelling. I have found this particularly useful when I am spending lots of time at the beach. The balm brings my hair back to life. Easily used in the shower and this is always found in my toiletry bag.

3-in-1 Body Wash, Bubble Bath & Shampoo

I love this 3-in-1 body wash, bubble bath and shampoo as it is compact and easy to carry. After a long day of travelling and sightseeing it is great to jump in a shower or bath and be cleansed from head to toe. Feeling clean and refreshed helps me to travel longer and better plus my skin is well looked after and you will definitely find this in my toiletry bag.

Tea Tree Oil Foot Cream

After a long day on my feet I often give my feet a massage with my Tea Tree Oil Foot Cream. It helps relieve aches and pains from being on my feet all day and it helps keep my heels from cracking. Plus the tea tree oil keeps itches from athletes foot fungus at bay. It is quite easy to add to my daily beauty routine. Just before getting in to bed and while sitting on the side of my bed I give my feet a good rub. Afterall, they deserve it and keep me going day after day.

Eye Gel

Kiss puffy eyes and dark circles under the eyes goodbye with under eye gel patches. They work to eliminate puffiness, dark circles and fine lines by speeding up cell and collagen rejuvenation. Keep them on for 20 minutes at least once a week or every couple of days if you need it. If I’ve had a big night I like to get rid of my ‘panda eyes’ by using these eye gel patches.

Organic Body Scrub

Keep your skin beautifully smooth while travelling with this organic body scrub. This dead sea salt formula does everything – exfoliate, cleanse, nourish and moisturise. It does it because fine grain dead sea salt is infused with organic essential oils, nutrients and skin softeners. I love this formula so I don’t just use it while travelling, I use it when at home also. Other travellers have commented on my skin and asked me my secret as to how I keep it so clean, clear and soft looking? Well, using this body scrub as part of my beauty routine helps!

Underarm Deodorant Wipes

If you go ‘off grid’ on your travels like I do and don’t have access to a shower, I keep some underarm deodorant wipes handy. Just one wipe neutralises underarm odours and provides lasting freshness with a subtle coconut scent. One pack easily fits into my luggage and has come in handy on many occasions.

Chapstick for your Lips

For as long as I remember I have always had a chapstick in my purse. The flavour changes from vanilla to strawberry and back to vanilla. Flavour aside, this little stick full of moisturiser keeps my lips soft and protected. Even if I have licked them constantly, my chaptstick undoes the damage. I am never found without one of these and I probably should have put it as number one on this list of my favourite travel-friendly toiletries on Amazon.

SPF 50 Moisturiser

Heading out every day whether it be summer or winter I always wear SPF 50 Moisturiser. Having SPF in my moisturiser ensures my skin doesn’t get burnt from the sun whether I am hiking, snowboarding (yes, I like to snowboard), sitting on the beach or just walking around. Having sun protection in my moisturiser means I don’t need to worry about putting moisturiser on and then sunscreen, as it is all in the one product. This will definitely always be on my favourite travel-friendly toiletries list.
